This is my philosophy and I instill it in my whole team. I am an accredited kitchen and bath designer (PKBP) (ACSD). I do not employ sales people, you will always deal directly with me from start to finish. I have been in the construction industry for over 30 years specializing in kitchen and bath remodel. I am a Virginia class A contractor and will be with you through this process from concept to completion.

Unlike most contractors, we only work on one job at a time. We will be at your home working on your project everyday until it is complete.

Step One: Meeting

We will meet you in your home to get acquainted and evaluate your remodeling needs, ideas and your budget. While at your house we will take measurements, discuss cabinet choices, lighting, appliances, flooring, accessories along with any foreseeable issues. We will present you with all the documentation needed for proof of licensing and liability insurance coverage. We provide a current reference list with the names and phone numbers of every project we have completed for at least the last 18 months. Most of our clients are more than happy to have you visit there homes to see the work in person.

Step Two: Planning & Design

We then schedule a second visit to present a detailed proposal and estimate along with computer image designs so that you can visualize your project before it begins. If you are satisfied with the preliminary estimate we will enter the planning and design phase. Once design is complete you will sign a contract, we will schedule your job, pull the necessary permits and begin construction.

Step Three: Construction

One large advantage of using Kitchens by Design is the speed in which your project will be completed. Our full kitchen remodeling takes only 3 to 4 weeks on average. The key here is that unlike most contractors, we only work on one job at a time. We will be at your home working on your project everyday until it is complete! During construction we place great emphasis on protecting your home and maintaining a clean work environment. We will remove trash and vacuum the job site daily and upon completion, we will leave the job clean by dusting, mopping and sweeping to your satisfaction.

We personally oversee every job daily to assure the Quality workmanship that has been promised.

Our craftsmen have over 25 years experience in carpentry and kitchen installation. Our employees are polite, articulate and well equipped to communicate with you while on your job. We personally oversee every job daily to assure the quality workmanship that has been promised.

Kitchens by Design, holds a class A contractor license in the state of Virginia and carries a 52,000,000 general liability insurance policy with Erie Insurance.
